Womens Golf

Eastwood Golf Club is proud to be joining the growing number of organisations that are moving away from the ‘ladies’ golf terminology.

This change can be seen at the highest ranks of Australian competitive golf, when the ALPG (Australian Ladies Professional Golf) changed their name to the WPGA Tour (Women’s Professional Golfers’ Association Tour).

At Eastwood, our philosophy is to provide a welcoming, respectful and inclusive environment for everyone.

All players have open access to the course, at all times, with women’s competition available daily, aligned to the playing rights of their chosen membership category.

Womens Golf
where to start?

We are proud to offer our ‘Get into Golf’ women’s program for all women and girls eager to learn the basics of the game. This is a short-term course conducted in a friendly group environment. It is a great way to develop the basic skill, make friends and spend time outdoors. New participants are given plenty of time to practice and when comfortable, are welcome to have a hit out on our full size 18-hole course. To view our current programs and to register click here.

You can opt for our popular Welcome to Eastwood – Women’s Introductory Membership, suited to the beginner golfer wanting to experience the fairways socially and/or in competition. This membership is specially designed to help transition even the newest golfer to the benefits of a full club membership. With access to practice facilities, range balls and golf lessons included, having your own official golf handicap, you are on your way to having fun outdoors, on the course and being part of a great club and social environment. Back in October 2022 we held our inaugural Pink Tee Day, a charity event open to all to raise money for Breast Cancer Research. The day was a huge success, filled with much fun and laughter and we were able to raise almost $3,500 to the cause.

Pink Tee Day 2023 is now open and filling fast! Contact us now for golf bookings, entering our bowls event or to attend the dinner. We’re excited and looking forward to building on the great result from last year, and having another fantastic day at the club!
